The curious incident of the dog in the night-time - Mark Haddon

I thoroughly recommend this book for people who are aged 12+. It is written from the perspective of a boy who has autism and doesn’t really understand human behaviour. When a neighbourhood dog is brutally murdered, he decides to make it his own responsibility to find out who did it, but with this comes the great challenge of understanding the way humans think and why they act. Hilarious at times but also relatable, sweet and sad, this book will leave you with a totally different perspective on life and the world.
